| Agency Relations |
| The Agency Relations Committee serves as a bridge between the 36 agency members and the governing Board of Directors. The committee meets quarterly one month prior to each agency Pow-Wow. |
| Allocation Committee |
| This committee is composed of 40 volunteers whose task it is to review all agency operations and finances each year and to recommend distribution of the funds that are raised by the Greater Douglas United Way. |
| Board of Directors |
| The community volunteers who make policy, oversee organizational operations, and set direction as well as serve on one or more committees. |
| Campaign |
| Many volunteer hours are employed in diligently planning and executing the annual campaign. Campaigners are involved in every aspect of the annual campaign, from design of materials to presentations and individual ask, they do it all. |

| Day of Caring |
| The Day of Caring Committee brings together 280 volunteers working on different projects at our Agencies in May of each year. We gather together local Employers and their employees to work at our Agencies doing facility repair, beautification, painting, cleanup and oil changes for senior volunteers participating in our Agencies. |
| Finance Committee |
| Five community members meet on the third Wednesday of each quarter to review and monitor the distribution of monies received by United Way. They are charged with reviewing the financial stability of the organization and reporting to the Board of Directors on the expenditures. |
| Recognition Committee |
| The Recognition Committee is our party planning committee. They are in charge of planning and executing two events; The Grand Finale and The United Way Family Picnic. Both are our best attended events. |
| Squad |
| No change is not acceptable has been the basis of the Squad's work in assisting the Board of Directors over the last year. The Squad is working to assist the Board of Directors to find ways to assure that our United Way remains proactive and relevant in our community. |
| Volunteer Development |
| This committee is responsible for development and implementation of new volunteers for the Greater Douglas United Way through the nomination process. Every year four new Board Members are added as four are retired. |
